Prayer

“If we ask anything
according to his will,
(we got it)” — 1 John 5:14-15

Like a kid who asks his dad
for a bike. If the dad says yes
-- a believing kid will start
making a place in the garage.

“faith without works is dead.”
— James 2:26 NIV

The kid does not need to ask
every day, “Dad can I have
a bike?”

Faith says:
“Thanks for the bike dad!”

Expect the thing to manifest
-- don’t be mopin’ around
like you don’t believe
you are ever going to get it.

Faith begins where
the will of God is known.
You can’t "believe" for
a bike unless you know
God promised it.

Prayer vs. action

There were 2 fishermen
in the middle of a lake
when a storm came up.

The one said, “Should
we pray, or should we row?”

The other said,
→ “Let’s do both!”
